EXCITING NEWS, PUPS IN THE PINES,AND WREATH GOALS
We have a very exciting (and important) update: We finally have a closing date for the farm! It’s been a very long journey to get here and we couldn’t be more excited. Or relieved.
We were confident it would happen, but due to very real seasonality of a business like this, we had to start making all kinds of plans before we officially owned the farm. And to be honest, that was a bit nerve-racking,.
But as predicted, all is on track to work out just fine.
Pat and I are going out of town to do a backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon this upcoming week and the closing is scheduled for right after we return.
October update:’Tis the season for PREP WORK
Oh hi! Just wanted to share a few exciting updates and let everyone know the latest –because there is quite a bit going on over here at Treetop Acres HQ.
SPRUCING UP THE FARM’S LOOK & FEEL
Hello there! Welcome to a brand new blog post, on our brand new website, branded with our brand new logo. We’re so glad you’re here!
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Liz Chatterton, the soon-to-be co-owner and “Treeative Director” of Treetop Acres. My full-time day job is at an advertising agency, where I work as an Associate Creative Director – so when my fiancé Pat initially told me that he was interested in buying a Christmas tree farm, the first thought that popped into my head was, “It would be SO. MUCH. FUN. to do the creative for a Christmas tree farm.”
