🍂 Flow Into Fall at Treetop Acres: Yoga & an Autumn Update

The air has that crisp edge in the mornings, the pumpkins are out at the farm stands, and this week it becomes official: fall is here. Around here, it feels like the real beginning of our busy season, and we’re welcoming it with open arms. It’s wild to think it’s been almost a full year since we started on this beautiful adventure, but here we are!

Last year, having just purchased the farm, we were Christmas tree sellers — but this year, we’ll feel like real Christmas tree growers. And we couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone back.

In the meantime, we have a few exciting updates to share.

First things first—we bought ourselves an RV! It’s nothing fancy, but it’s going to make life so much easier as we prepare for the holidays. Now we can stay right here on the farm overnight instead of driving back and forth from Lockport to our home in Brockport. That means more time for trimming, more time to rest, and (hopefully) a little more balance in the weeks ahead.

While we were working on Saturday, the farm’s founders and previous owners, John and Vicki, stopped by to say hi, and it was so nice to show them what we’ve been up to.. They put so much heart into Treetop Acres for so many years, and we’re thrilled that they still want to visit. They couldn’t help but mention how much free time they have now — and we know better than ever how well deserved that is!

We stayed over (in the RV), and it’s just so wonderful to spend time enjoying the farm after we’re done with the work part of the day. We got to see the most beautiful sunset, relax around the bonfire, and then wake up surrounded by trees, which are looking really nice - now that most of them have been sheared.

We’re honestly blown away by how much the trees have grown this past year. They’re looking lush, full, and prettier than ever. We can’t wait for you to walk the rows come November and find the one that’s just right for you and your family.

This year, opening day will be Friday, November 28 (the day after Thanksgiving), and we’re really hoping to stay open for two full weekends. In addition to trees, you’ll see an expanded selection of handmade wreaths and decorations, plus some fun new retail goodies tucked into the shop.

But before we jump headfirst into the holidays, we’re celebrating the start of fall with something special:

🍂 FLOW INTO FALL — AUTUMNAL EQUINOX YOGA & JOURNALING

Come welcome the new season with intention and presence. Instructors Jon & Alena Winters will lead a gentle 45-minute vinyasa yoga class, themed around seasonal transitions—release, balance, and letting go. Afterward, we’ll gather around the bonfire for guided journaling and intention setting.

✔️ A complimentary journal & pen
✔️ Delicious local apple cider
✔️ Seasonal snacks

All levels are welcome—just bring your mat or towel, and a water bottle.

Of course, it wouldn’t be autumn in WNY without talking about our Buffalo Bills. They’re off to a strong start this season, and we’ll be celebrating with our popular Bills wreaths again this year—perfect for showing off your team spirit AND your holiday spirit..

And finally, on a personal note — we’re getting married in just 20 days! It’s definitely a joyful, busy, slightly chaotic season, but our hearts are full, and we couldn’t be more grateful to share it with all of you.

Thanks, as always, for following along. We can’t wait to see you at the farm—whether it’s for yoga next weekend, or tree-hunting after Thanksgiving!
