SPRING MEANS FIELD TRIPS AT THE FARM🌱

As the snow begins to melt and the days slowly grow longer, there’s a sense of excitement building. Spring is one of our favorite times of the year on the farm. It’s a season full of fresh starts, new growth, and planting.

We’re feeling especially refreshed and inspired this year after just returning from an incredible two-week trip to Aruba. Taking a little time away in the warmth and sunshine gave us a chance to recharge, reflect, and get excited about everything ahead. While we enjoyed the beautiful beaches and tropical weather, it also reminded us just how much we love being outdoors and seeing things grow and bloom back home.

Now that we’re back, we’re diving right into preparations for planting and spring and summer events.

Our seedlings are ordered, new flower beds are being prepared, and we are eagerly counting down the days until we can get our new trees in the ground. There’s nothing quite like those first warm spring days when the soil is ready, and the farm begins to wake up.

This Spring brings another exciting development for us — we’re thrilled to officially launch our new Field Trips & Tours program!

We’ve always loved welcoming visitors to the farm, and we’ve added a new page to our website to make it easier than ever for schools, community groups, and families to learn about the hands-on experiences we offer. Our field trips are designed to give students a closer look at how Christmas trees and flowers are grown while creating memorable learning experiences.

Visitors can explore the farm, learn about planting and seasonal growing, and see firsthand how a working farm changes throughout the year. It’s a chance to connect with nature, ask questions, and experience the rhythms of the farm in a fun and engaging way.

If you’re interested in bringing a class, group, or organization to visit us this season, we’d love to have you! You can learn more about our available tours and field trips by visiting the new page on our website. And if you don’t see an option that works for you, feel free to reach out by sending an email to hello@visittreetopacres.com — and we can work together to create an experience that works with your curriculum and group size.

See you on the farm! 🌿
